Digital Photo taken a couple of days ago along the Yarra River in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

No cropping, but some slight contrast adjustment.

The sky was quite smoky when I took this shot (there were burnoffs going on to the north of the city, which was blanketing the city in smoke), which seemed to give the reflections in the Yarra quite an interesting shimmer (at least to me :D) Hope you like.

Beautiful! The reflection, though distorted, is as crisp as the skyline itself! I also like the fact that the colors are richest in the middle and get more faded as you look toward the top/bottom of the photograph. Nice capture! :)

Good shot of the Yarra.

I've tried taking photos around there, at night, and never seem to end up with anything too great.

Thank you! :D

I really enjoy taking Yarra shots; not quite sure why I enjoy it so much. I think the trick is just to take as many pics as you can possibly think of and see what comes out of them :D

Maybe I should try during the day lol.

I never really go to the city anymore, no one to go with lulz.

I wouldn't go into the city if I didn't have to (I pick up my partner from work every night) If I have an hour or so to spare, I enjoy just wandering the streets with a camera acting all touristy :D

What's stopping you from going on your own? There's no shame in it (better to act all goofy like a tourist! :giggle:)

Lol, don't wanna get rolled by some feral.

I doubt that that would happen if you stuck to the more populated areas

Excellent composition, and color range. Reflection adds some great depth to the shot. Although the sky could have been a touch bluer. just my opinion.

Thank you for your kind words! :D

I'll have a play around with the colour when I get some time, see what comes up :D
