Hail Storm 16

Last picture. This is the only damage to actually occur to the house. This is one of our two skylights, and you can clearly see where a hail stone has sheared through the casing. We've been extremely lucky that this is the only damage that was actually caused by the storm. Until we can get this fixed, we have a bucket under the hole. We are expecting more storms and rain over the next couple of days, but we're hoping that because this is on an angle in the roof, that we won't get too much rain come through.

On the plus side - I quite like this photo. Very tunnel like

For viewers outside Australia, we're now six days past the end of Summer. It's rare to have this type of storm pass through, even rarer for it to occur at this time of the year.
